I just had the privilege of shooting an engagement session for Sherry and Paul. They’re so sweet and Paul is super funny! He had all of us rolling. They’re getting married July 18 at the Westin City Center Plaza of the Americas in Dallas. Take a look at the video:

Christal and Chad renewed their vows after ten years at the First United Methodist Church in Royse City. The historic church fit the occasion perfectly, since these two wonderful people have shared such a rich life together for so long.
The beautiful couple continued the celebration at the Los Rios Country Club in Plano, where they were joined by their closest friends. Chad and Christal worked very hard on their dance, and it shows!

It was a delight shooting Ashley and Miller’s wedding here at the Park Cities Presbyterian Church in Dallas, TX. This was a HUGE wedding, appropriate for this larger-than-life couple! We wish them a very happy life together.
Ashley and Miller continued their beautiful wedding at the elegant Northwood Club. The live band was great and everyone had a wonderful time.

Jaclyn and Jeff are among the most thoughtful and kind couples I have worked with. Their wedding, held in my hometown of Plano, Texas, charmed me with its simple elegance. I also loved their sense of humor — Jeff’s cake was a perfect rendition of Guitar Hero! They’re beautiful together.

I just attended the Plano Bridal Show last Sunday. So many excellent wedding vendors were there offering their services. If you’re planning your wedding, I would recommend that you attend these events. There’s no better way to meet face-to-face with the many fine professionals who can make your wedding day a dream come true.
Speaking of which, if you’re looking for a wedding planner, consider Kay Watson, Emerald Events & Weddings (who does green weddings!), A Lasting Touch, or Jaime Lee Event Planning (an up and coming local consultant who ALSO does destination weddings).
I also met some great entertainers on Sunday. The Violin Guy is a one-man band that captivated the crowd with his beautiful singing voice. I also recommend the Dallas String Quartet — they’re excellent chamber musicians. If you’re looking for a DJ, consider Tim Howard, A-1 Entertainment, or the CM Music Company.
Also very cool are the wonderful people at the Majestic Ballroom, who will teach you how to dance and thus ease your nerves come the big day! And don’t miss Balloons by Design, whose balloon tapestries are just beautiful.

What a fun couple! Heather and Billy’s wedding reflected their no-holds-barred, living-it-to-the-max kind of attitude. And they make a great team — they are respected members of our law enforcement at DFW International Airport and the Arlington Police. I was so happy to see them married.

It was a joy to make Melanie and Brandon’s wedding video. They were very sweet and held such a fun party for the huge crowd of family and friends. Brandon is heading off for the Air Force and I wish them the best of luck. They held their reception at the incredible Empire Room in downtown Dallas.
